On Monday night, the Los Angeles Clippers were finally able to debut their new-look squad, with superstar guard James Harden playing his first game for the franchise since being traded to the team by the Philadelphia 76ers last week.
This was a highly anticipated debut for Harden while playing alongside Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George, with many believing this team might have the star power to be the best team in the league.
Unfortunately for the franchise, Monday’s game didn’t show much promise for the immediate promise of the Clippers’ new squad, as Los Angeles lost to the New York Knicks by 14 points at Madison Square Garden.
However, it is only the beginning for this team filled with superstar talent, and anything can happen from here on out with more minutes on the floor.
Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports wasn’t impressed by what he saw from this Clippers team, and he believes the team will struggle to make it work with their four stars, via The Herd with Colin Cowherd.

Cowherd believes that the Clippers couldn’t compete with the Knicks because they “died” on the road in the fourth quarter on Monday night, with these star players not yet accepting their roles moving forward.
It’s hard enough to make an NBA team work with two superstars that have had success elsewhere, let alone four that have all run their own team in the past.
It will be a tough hill to climb for the Clippers as Tyronn Lue and company try to figure out some balance while getting all four players and egos to buy in.
