The Philadelphia Phillies find themselves in a tough spot heading into Game 5 of the World Series against the Houston Astros.
After winning Game 3, Game 4 of the series was somewhat of a letdown as they ended up on the wrong side of the Astros’ combined no-hitter.
Now, they’ll face Justin Verlander in Game 5 tonight.
But if there’s any sort on inspiration the Phillies and their fans can lean on, it would be the great Bryce Harper.
The slugger is hitting .368 this postseason with six home runs and 13 RBI.
Yesterday, prior to Game 4, Colin Cowherd commented on Harper’s impact in Philadelphia and how he’s engaged the fans in this World Series run.
Bryce Harper is exactly what baseball needs:

What Harper Means To Philadelphia
Harper’s impact on the City of Philadelphia is unmatched.
Harper signed in Philadelphia in the first place for one reason and one reason only, to win a World Series title and bring a championship to the City of Brotherly Love for the first time since 2008.
The 30-year-old and reigning National League MVP has been very vocal about how much he appreciates the support from the Phillies’ faithful and has even gone as far as to say that they are as much a part of the team as the players are.
Harper has made it clear that he enjoys playing in front of such a passionate and engaged fanbase in one of the finest sports cities in the United States.
If there is anybody the Phillies can look to for inspiration following last night’s crushing defeat, it would be Harper himself.
