Even though they were playing at home, most people expected the Los Angeles Clippers to be taken down by the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.
That’s because the Mavs have been doing a lot of great work lately and Luka Doncic has been MVP-worthy.
Meanwhile, the Clippers have been floundering and had lost six games in a row – and the output from both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George has been inconsistent.

But Leonard was looking like his normal self during the game, putting up a season-high 33 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Leonard’s performance was accompanied by Norman Powell‘s 27, Terance Mann‘s 12, and Marcus Morris‘ 12 points as well.
In the end, the Clippers defeated the Mavs, 113-101.
It was a great night for the team and a wonderful night for the fanbase too.
All season long, they have been waiting for a showing like this from Leonard.
There was a time not too long ago when Leonard was putting up nearly 30 points every night.
So far this season, he’s only played in 19 games and has been limited when it comes to the number of minutes played and the average point output he’s created.
That is why people were so elated to see his 33 on Tuesday.
What’s next for Leonard?
Will he continue to produce like this or will he remain inconsistent?
And when will he have Paul George back on the court with him?
The Clippers have their work cut out for them but if Leonard and George both start playing like their normal selves, things could start looking better for this troubled LA team.
