The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the most interesting teams in the NBA this season.
When healthy, they’re arguably the best team in the league on paper.
Unfortunately, the team has been without star forward Kawhi Leonard for most of the season so far, and it’s unclear when he’ll return.
The good news for the Clippers is that they’re incredibly deep, and they have another star player by the name of Paul George.
George had a few iffy showings at the very beginning of the season, but he has been unstoppable lately.
Over his last six games, he’s averaging 30.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists per contest on 55.4 percent shooting from the field and 42.9 percent shooting from beyond the arc.

The Clippers are 7-5 on the season and currently hold a playoff spot, and George is perhaps the biggest reason why.
The Road Ahead
The Clippers are obviously playing very well with George leading the way.
Even if Leonard misses significant time in the regular season, L.A.’s depth will likely help the team reach the playoffs as long as George stays healthy.
However, the postseason is a different animal, and come playoff time, the Clippers are going to need both Leonard and George to be available if they want to make a championship run.
In the meantime, Paul will look to keep things rolling as the temporary No. 1 option for his squad.
The Clippers will host the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday before facing the Houston Rockets on the road on Monday.
