The Los Angeles Dodgers are back on top in the NL West.
With last night’s 4-0 win at Chase Field over the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Dodgers officially clinched their ninth NL West division title in the last 10 years.
The Dodgers improved to 98-43 on the season, which is the best record in all of baseball.
After the game, the Dodgers let loose with the first champagne celebration of the year, but not before veteran left-hander Clayton Kershaw addressed the clubhouse.
Kershaw thanked his teammates for their contributions and expressed how much he appreciated them.
Then the champagne began to fly, and the Dodgers soaked up the moment.
Clayton Kershaw got to address the #Dodgers clubhouse before the champagne started flying: "I just want to say I love you guys and thank you for being so good."

Kershaw Toasts His Teammates
It’s nice to see Kershaw show praise for his teammates.
He’s obviously no stranger to champagne celebrations.
He’s been around a long time and has experienced several great moments during his time as a Dodger.
He’s also a veteran voice that the players stand behind and will listen to when he has something to say.
So naturally, it was important for Kershaw’s Dodger teammates to hear what he had to say before the celebration began and understood how much he appreciates them for their accomplishments.
A close-knit clubhouse is usually a sign of a great team that wins.
The Dodgers clearly have that and have all been pulling together all season long.
Kershaw is still a dependable pitcher who the Dodgers can lean on for some veteran experience and words of wisdom.
But his words last night were words of appreciation for his teammates.
The Dodgers can now celebrate their first major accomplishment of the season and will soon shift their focus to October, where they hope for yet another deep run into the postseason and a shot at a World Series title.
