The New Orleans Pelicans shocked the entire NBA world on Sunday night when they grabbed a huge win over the Phoenix Suns and evened the series after a jaw-dropping 118-103 victory.
New Orleans is now just two games away from taking out the first-seeded Suns in the opening round of the playoffs.
That’s a tall order to be sure and there is a lot working against them.
But if they keep playing like they did Sunday, anything is possible.

Following the massive win on Sunday, Pelicans star CJ McCollum was seen dancing a little jig of joy.
He has every reason to be happy: he’s playing with one of the most exciting teams in the league.
A Team Effort
McCollum himself had a stellar night, putting up 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists.
But the entire Pelicans team came together to make the big win possible.
Brandon Ingram had 30 points, Jonas Valanciunas achieved 26.
Herb Jones had 13 points and 3 tremendous blocks while Jose Alvarado had just 5 points but was a defensive hero.
The entire team was stepping up and everyone played their parts and did what was needed to stop the Suns.
At times, Phoenix looked like a team full of rookies playing their first game in the NBA.
In other words, the Suns were completely thrown off their game.
They have a chance to turn it around, especially since the series is headed back to Phoenix.
New Orleans will have to keep playing at this level if they hope to secure any more wins.
That may be hard to do but the Pelicans have surprised everyone multiple times – they could do it again.
The series between the Suns and Pelicans is about to get very interesting and heated.
