He has helped them run off a 10-game winning streak, and on Thursday he was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month.

Since the start of December, he has put up 505 rushing yards on 5.0 yards per rush attempt and four rushing touchdowns, as well as 262 yards and three touchdowns in the air.
When McCaffrey arrived in the Bay Area, the Niners were struggling, especially on the offensive side of the ball, and after his first game with them, which was a blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, they fell to a 3-4 record.
That was the last time they have lost a game to date.
At the time, with running back Elijah Mitchell out of action due to a sprained MCL, San Francisco had virtually no running game, and it made its passing attack that much easier to defend.
But McCaffrey has made the team more dynamic and unpredictable, which has helped open up the passing game.
In his 11 games with the 49ers, they have scored at least 30 points seven times, a mark they didn’t reach this season prior to his arrival.
Still, McCaffrey wasn’t named to the Pro Bowl, something which baffled head coach Kyle Shanahan.
"It's blown my mind all year that Christian (McCaffrey) wasn't an All-Pro or Pro Bowler," Kyle Shanahan said

But two things are for sure: he will make the Niners a huge handful for opposing teams in the playoffs, and he would likely prefer to win a Vince Lombardi trophy than have a spot in an All-Star flag football game that hardly anyone watches.
