A change of scenery often leads to positive results, especially when it comes to occupations.
After a midseason trade between the San Francisco 49ers and the Carolina Panthers, one player, in particular, is reaping the benefits of changing scenery.

In the above video, newly acquired running back Christian McCaffrey is seen celebrating with his 49ers teammates, the latest team to clinch a playoff berth.
Although many across the NFL were skeptical about the 49ers giving up so much draft capital, at least for the moment, the trade has to feel well worth it for the 49ers.
In McCaffrey’s eight games with the 49ers, he is averaging 66.75 rushing yards and has added another 43.25 receiving yards per game.
Previously, running backs have split the majority of work in a Kyle Shannahan-led offense, but with the emergence of McCaffrey, the team has shifted to a more one-dimensional approach.
McCaffrey is one of the league’s best-receiving backs.
His unique skillset of being able to catch a large number of passes while being a dominant rusher makes him difficult to stop from the defensive side of the ball.
A New Opportunity For McCaffrey’s Legacy
Since McCaffrey was drafted by the Panthers in 2017, he has only appeared in the playoffs once.
By joining a team like the 49ers, he will be allowed to showcase his skills in the postseason, both this year and for years to come as well.
The 49ers were a dominant team before adding McCaffrey, and with his addition, they are going to be a difficult team to stop in the playoffs.
