Chris Paul Looking To Continue An Impressive Birthday Trend

Chris Paul of the Phoenix Suns is going to have a very big Friday.

The point guard will face off against the Dallas Mavericks yet again in Game 3 of the second round.

With the Suns up 2-0 against the Mavs, Paul is looking to put yet another nail in Dallas’ coffin and secure a third, pivotal win.

It could be a massive night for Paul and get him even closer to returning to the Finals and perhaps winning his first championship ring.

Oh, it’s also his birthday.

Happy birthday to Chris Paul, who was born 37 years ago today! Paul has played two games on his birthday, winning both of them:

May 6th, 2018: vs. Utah
May 6th, 2019: vs. Golden State

Friday is Paul’s 37th birthday and he is hoping to receive the great gift of a major victory.

If the past is any indication, that might happen.

Paul has played in two other games on his birthday during his time in the NBA, once against the Utah Jazz in 2018 and once against Golden State in 2019.

His team has won both of those games.

Will he receive another win on Friday night?

Happy Birthday, CP3!

While 37 isn’t really old, it’s above average for NBA players.

Yet, Paul is still playing like a man ten years younger and has become a vital part of the Suns’ resurgence over the last couple of seasons.

This season, Paul has averaged 14.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 10.8 assists.

He’s a prime example of how special and powerful a point guard can be.

In these playoffs, Paul has been putting up 22.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 9.9 assists.

He is surrounded by multiple other stars, such as Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton.

Together, the team has shown that they still have what it takes to make the Finals.

That is Paul’s ultimate goal: he has been fighting for a ring for years now.

It might really happen this season.
