The NFC East has been subject to parity throughout the last 19 years.
There has not been a repeat winner throughout that time, as the division continues to yield to a new champion.
However, as Chris Broussard recently revealed in a segment of ‘First Things First,’ he believes the Philadelphia Eagles will buck that trend in 2022.

Broussard laid out his predictions for the NFC East, which had the Eagles atop the division.
He then cited the Dallas Cowboys as the second-best team, believing they will make the playoffs.
The Washington Commanders and New York Giants rounded out his top four, a likely surprise to many across the league.
The Giants were a surprise playoff team in 2022, as Daniel Jones took a step forward that wasn’t widely anticipated.
However, Broussard has them ranked dead last in the division, even behind the Commanders who have gotten significant criticism throughout the offseason.
In many respects, the Eagles dominated the NFC last year.
Their offense and defense were both ranked in the top 10 across the NFL and were one of the top teams in the NFC.
They found great success under Jalen Hurts, who made his way into the league MVP conversation.
As Broussard mentioned, “I don’t think Jalen Hurts will allow them to have a Super Bowl hangover.”
The Eagles’ offense largely clicked due to the rise of Hurts, who has now been extended by the organization.
He will look to lead them to another NFC East title, breaking the 19-year trend of non-repeating division champions.
