The Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl in 2022, even though they lost Tyreek Hill during the offseason.
They did sign JuJu Smith-Schuster in his absence, but he is now a member of the New England Patriots after a free-agent signing.
Many Chiefs fans have been begging the team to add an elite pass-catcher to their roster ahead of the 2023 season.
One fan, in particular, has pointed to DeAndre Hopkins as a valuable potential addition to the Chiefs.
The Chiefs are in need of a WR1.
Deandre Hopkins is a WR1.
The Chiefs need a veteran WR who can fit into the offense.

Hopkins has been rumored to be on the move from the Arizona Cardinals, as they are not expected to compete in 2023.
The Chiefs are a great candidate for him, especially since their Super Bowl window is wide open under Patrick Mahomes.
Mahomes’ career has been very successful thus far, reaching the AFC Championship in five straight seasons.
He has been known to make those around him better, especially his wide receivers.
Although this can work, it would certainly be helpful for the Chiefs to have Hopkins on the roster.
One of the biggest holdups with Hopkins thus far has been his current contract, as he will need to be traded.
If he was a free agent, this would be a completely different story.
Although Hopkins is 30 years old, he still has plenty left in the tank, as evidenced by his play last season.
What will the Cardinals ask for in return on their quest to rebuild under Kyler Murray and a new coaching staff?
This is an evolving situation, but the Chiefs have been a great candidate for Hopkins thus far.
