The Chicago Bears made a bold move at the trade deadline by trading for Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool.
It seemed obvious that Claypool was going to get moved, but not many people expected it to be the Bears.
Chicago has a young quarterback in Justin Fields, who they needed another weapon for.
Now with Claypool in the fold, it will be interesting to see how quickly he can make an impact.
The former second-round pick was an afterthought this year in the Pittsburgh offense.
In eight games, he had 32 receptions for 311 yards and one touchdown.
Claypool thinks of himself as a “playmaker” and he should get a chance to show that in Chicago.
Bears WR Chase Claypool: "I'm a playmaker. … I feel like I didn't have the full opportunity to show what I could do this year, but I feel like I've been able to show that in the past."

His inability to make plays on the Steelers this year was due to their young quarterback and struggling offensive line.
Pittsburgh has not gotten anything going all year and with many mouths to feed in that offense, Claypool was left out.
Chicago Passing Game
After being the worst passing team in the NFL to start the year, the Bears have improved of late.
Fields has been throwing the ball very well including his best game of the year against the Cowboys in Week 8.
He threw for a measly 151 yards but did have two TD passes and completed 73.9% of the throws.
It will be interesting to see if the Bears will open their offense up for Fields now with Claypool in the lineup.
Running the ball is not an issue in Chicago, as they do that with plenty of success.
But, to accomplish anything substantial in the NFL you have to be an effective passing team.
That is what the Bears are hoping for.
