The National Basketball Association is where amazing happens, and that’s way more than just a motto.
The league keeps becoming more and more competitive every year, and for the first time in decades, it seems like the Larry O’Brien trophy is legitimately up for grabs.
Both conferences have multiple teams that could make a deep run at a championship, and it seems like the standings are changing at the end of every day.
That’s why Hall of Famer Charles Barkley believes we’re in for a trade deadline for the ages, as there are more than enough teams looking to make big moves to bolster their chances right now.
“I think this is gonna be one of the best NBA trading deadlines ever,” Barkley said on NBA on TNT. “In my opinion, there’s about 8 teams that’s got a legitimate shot of winning a championship and they’re like, ‘We need to make a move.’”

That may not be a far-fetched prediction at all.
The Golden State Warriors have been linked with a potential big move during the whole season, and so have the Miami Heat.
Also, there have been some rumors about the Minnesota Timberwolves potentially making Karl-Anthony Towns available if they fall in the standings, while the Toronto Raptors could part ways with OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam, Gary Trent Jr., and/or Fred VanVleet.
The Memphis Grizzlies and Denver Nuggets both have enough assets and cap space to try and figure something out, and the New York Knicks could use their plethora of picks to land a reinforcement.
Also, what’s going to happen with Mike Conley and Jordan Clarkson?
And will the Detroit Pistons hold on to Bojan Bogdanovic?
There will likely be so many good players available, so you better stay tuned ahead of what could be one of the most exciting deadlines we’ve seen in years.
