Things are looking better for the Los Angeles Clippers.
The team got off to a rough start, mostly because they were lacking consistent time on the court from Kawhi Leonard.
But now Leonard is looking a lot better, scoring more than 25 points a night and missing less time.
The team has slowly but steadily climbed to fourth place in the West.
But this doesn’t mean everyone is convinced they are going to make it far in the playoffs.
NBA legend and analyst Charles Barkley let his strong opinion of the Clippers be known on Thursday night and he’s not as optimistic as some.

“They can win it, or they could lose the first round,” Barkley said.
He added, “I picked them to win the West but they are…Dr. Phill would have a field day with the team.”
The fact that Barkley thinks they could either win the West or fall in the first round just goes to show how tricky and complicated this Clippers team is.
When the roster is full, healthy, and strong, they have the potential to really go far and do a lot.
But when some of their main pieces are missing, they are middling at best.
And middling simply doesn’t earn success in the postseason.
The Clippers are surging right now but they have to keep it up for a couple more months.
That’s a tough task for them, especially since they are known to experience many injuries and the end of the season is notorious for players weakening and needing time off.
Some people have the utmost belief in the Clippers while others have none, and there seems to be no in-between for this team.
