The Los Angeles Chargers have been getting healthier after being hit hard by the injury bug this season, and it appears they will get a pretty big reinforcement back when they play the Los Angeles Rams this weekend.
Joey Bosa, their star pass rusher, recently returned to the practice field after suffering a groin injury in Week 3, and head coach Brandon Staley says he’s planning on getting Bosa on the field for some actual game action versus the defending Super Bowl champs.

The caveat, however, is that it appears there will be a limited number of snaps for him.

Still, having the four-time Pro Bowler back will help the team build more momentum going into just its third playoff appearance since the 2009 season.
Bosa Will Give The Chargers’ Defense Another Dimension
For much of this season, Los Angeles has struggled on the defensive side of the football, and those struggles have single-handedly led to a couple of losses to teams it should’ve beaten.
But the Chargers have improved in that department lately, as they’ve held each of their last three opponents to 17 points or less and under 300 yards of total offense.
Not surprisingly, the Bolts have won each of those three games.
