The Green Bay Packers will not be in the playoffs this year.
After three straight 13-win seasons, this year has been a major disappointment for Green Bay.
This season the Packers are 5-8, and they should start looking toward 2023.
It would not be a surprise to see the Packers turn the starting quarterback role over to Jordan Love.
At some point, they need to decide whether to keep or trade Love, so seeing him play over a 3-4-game period is crucial.
Here are two changes the Packers should be making to their roster this offseason.
1. Trade Aaron Rodgers
The Aaron Rodgers era in Green Bay is coming to an end.
But, the Packers should be the ones that make the last move in this relationship.
Instead of walking on eggshells about what Rodgers might do.
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said Aaron Rodgers’ future is “an offseason kind of decision, but surely, yeah, we want all our guys back. We made a big commitment to him this offseason, so that was important.” pic.twitter.com/TsWuJqxKk8

Green Bay should look to trade him this offseason.
They might have their quarterback of the future in Love, but if not they should be looking to draft one.
The Packers have so many holes on their roster that not even Rodgers will be able to save them.
Plus, after moving Davante Adams this past offseason, Green Bay seems to be looking toward the future.
2, Find A Defensive Cornerstone
The Packers have been trotting out one of the worst defenses in the NFL this season.
They have been gashed on the ground, allowing 154.8 rushing yards per game.

It is time for the Packers to be aggressive in finding an elite defensive player.
Whether that is through the draft or via trade/free agency, the Packers need to make improvements on defense.
Having a good defense is crucial, playing in a division with two good offenses like Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions.
Ultimately, this offseason in Green Bay will tell us a lot about the plans of their organization.
