The Boston Celtics were able to rally back to secure a huge win during Wednesday night’s Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
After giving up Game 2 to the Golden State Warriors in the Bay Area, the Celtics did what they needed to do and won in a strong 116-100 victory.
The entire starting lineup for the Celtics was impressive on Wednesday, with four of them scoring double-digits and Robert Williams grabbing 10 boards.
The Celtics had four guys go for 10-5-5 in Game 3.
Jaylen Brown
Jayson Tatum
Al Horford
Marcus Smart

In fact, Boston had four players who had 10-5-5 in Game 3, with Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, and Marcus Smart achieving that stat.
The last quartet to do that in the Finals was Bill Russell, Sam Jones, K.C. Jones, and John Havlicek back in 1966.
Wow, that’s some good company to be a part of.
Celtics Shining
If the Celtics keep playing as they did Wednesday night, they really could win the Finals.
It wasn’t an easy victory and there looked like a time when the Warriors were going to come back and maybe win.
But the Celtics kept it together and were a wonderful mix of both offense and defense throughout the night.
Most importantly, the entire team was pouring it on.
The statistic about the four strongest players on the team is just another example of that.
Meanwhile, the Warriors were having issues.
Stephen Curry and Klay Thompsons were on point yet again but many others on the roster were having problems.
That simply wasn’t the case with the Celtics, who were really working like a cohesive, strong, functional unit.
Boston hasn’t looked this good in a while and they will need to keep up in Game 4 if they want to grab a 3-1 lead in the series.
But don’t count the Warriors out – they are well aware that they didn’t play super well and will do what they can to change that.
