The Boston Celtics demolished the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night, 139-96.
Fans of the Celtics were elated with their team and its two biggest stars, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who scored 31 and 26 points, respectively.
Those players were met with raucous applause as the game came to an end.

Meanwhile, Celtics followers also let their opinions about another star player be known.
As the clock ticked down in the fourth quarter, TD Garden was filled with chants of “Kyrie sucks” over and over again.
This was obviously directed at Kyrie Irving, the former Celtics player who scored 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists for his Nets.
Irvin’s relationship with Boston was complicated during his tenure with the Celtics but it’s become downright toxic since he departed for the Nets.
He spent two seasons leading the Celtics, averaging 24.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.
Yet, even when he was on the team there were rumors of him wanting to leave.
Sure enough, he then took off for Brooklyn before the start of the 2019-20 season and that’s when his real trouble with Boston began.
Irving made multiple disparaging comments about the city and its fans which angered all Celtics followers.
He also publicly rubbed his shoes on the team’s half-court mascot, Lucky, which fired them up even more.
Irving has never been afraid of speaking his mind and letting his opinions be known.
Neither have the people of Boston, who have soured on Irving and repeatedly let him know it.
That’s why the team’s huge victory over the Nets on Wednesday was so welcomed.
Not only did the Celtics score another huge victory but they took down someone who has become the team’s biggest nemesis.
