The Boston Celtics are the best team in the East with a superior 17-4 record.
They have won their last four games and have shown a level of dominance that is hard to top.
Right now, it feels like this team really could push and fight all the way back to the NBA Finals at the end of the season.
And they are doing all of this without one of their biggest and most important players.
Robert Williams has been out for months due to surgery on his left knee with a timetable for a return around 8-12 weeks.

The team is getting good news about Wiliams.
He recently scrimmaged with the rest of his squad, signaling an approaching return to full-time playing in the league.
What will Williams bring when he’s finally suited up again and taking to the floor at TD Garden?
Waiting For Williams
Williams is a legitimate defensive powerhouse when he is healthy.
He had a breakout year last season, notching career-highs in games played and minutes averaged.
Williams was putting up 10 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2.2 blocks per game while shooting 73.6% from the field.
Since losing Williams, the Celtics have obviously still thrived but they could be even better if Williams was healthy again.
Williams’ return would also take the pressure off of an aging Al Horford and would allow the team to use bench player Blake Griffin with more versatility too.
Inside reporting suggests that Wiliams could be back around Christmas time.
That would be a wonderful holiday gift for the best team in the East.
While scrimmaging is a good sign, no definitive announcement about Williams has been made so fans are waiting patiently for the official word.
