A lot of attention was paid to the big trade of Donovan Mitchell to the Cleveland Cavaliers during the summer.
Most people agreed that the addition of Mitchell could take the team to the next level and help them reach the Finals.
But the acquisition of Mitchell shouldn’t overshadow the greatness that already existed on the team.

One of the best players for the squad, both this season and last, is Evan Mobley.
The power forward has been showing his worth, especially lately: he has averaged 21.3 points and 9.2 rebounds with a 62% field goal percentage over the last six games.
For the season, Mobley is putting up 15.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists on 56.5%.
Compare that to last season, his first: 15 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists on 50.8%.
It’s clear that Mobley started strong but is moving in an even better direction.
On Saturday night, Mobley was downright explosive, scoring a career-high 38 points along with 9 rebounds.
Thanks to his help, the Cavs were able to put away the short-handed Milwaukee Bucks.
Some people have referred to Mobley as a “unicorn” because of his big size and his ability to defend and produce points too.
Alongside Jarrett Allen, he is part of one of the best frontcourts in the league and is now being called “Fourth Quarter Evan” because of his strong showing in the final period of games.
While most people feel that Mitchell or Darius Garland are the stars of the team, the only way the Cavaliers will make it far in the playoffs is if they have a fully fleshed-out, well-rounded team on both ends of the court.
Mobley has made it clear that he can give them that.
