The NBA Draft doesn’t start until Thursday night but that isn’t stopping the Cleveland Cavaliers from making moves hours ahead of it.
They already had the number 14, 39, and 56 picks in the draft but they just grabbed another to add to that.
Cleveland is acquiring Sacramento's pick at 49 in tonight's NBA draft for the rights to Sasha Vezenkov, sources tell ESPN. Vezenkov, 26, was a first-team All-EuroLeague forward this season. He was the 57th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Cavs are acquiring Sacramento’s pick at 49 for the rights to Bulgarian player Sasha Vezenkov.
The 26-year-old player was a first-time All-Euro League forward this past season and was the 57th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, chosen by the Brooklyn Nets in the second round.
Cleveland later acquired the rights to Vezenkov in 2021 in a multi-team deal involving James Harden.
Vezenkov has yet to play an official NBA game but will that change now that his rights have been sent to Sacramento?

It remains to be seen what Sacramento will do with the rights to Vezenkov but it’s obvious that Cleveland is very happy with the package they just dealt.
They now have four picks in Thursday’s draft: numbers 14, 39, 49, and 56.
Will they actually draft players with all those picks or will they bundle them up to acquire other talents around the league?
We aren’t quite sure which way Cleveland will go, they’ve already had a few offers from other teams for their 14th pick.
The Cavaliers have been getting better and better lately, led by the power of Evan Mobley, Darius Garland, and other young performers.
Are they about to add a few more youthful athletes to their roster?
It could be a very interesting and exciting night for fans of the Cavaliers depending on how they play these four picks.
