Carmelo Anthony has been in the NBA for 19 years now and he has seen and done a lot during that time.
He is a 10-time All-Star, a 6-time All-NBA player, the 2012-13 scoring champion, and a member of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.
We know what Anthony has done and which teams he has done it for but we don’t know what’s next for him nor where he will play.

The free agent was seen in the gym over the weekend, hitting the rim again and again and showing that he can still move even at 38 years old.
We don’t know what jersey Anthony will wear in the upcoming season but we can agree that he still has a lot to bring.
Melo Moving On
During his singular season with the Lakers, Anthony scored 13.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1 assist a game.
He was also shooting 37.5% from beyond the three-point line.
Anthony doesn’t move as he used to and he only started in three games last season but he was sometimes a pivotal part of the 69 games he participated in.
The Lakers aren’t sure if they’re going to re-sign Anthony or let him move to another team.
Recently, there has been talk from inside the Boston Celtics about them circling Anthony for the new season.
He would certainly fit well into the team’s culture and its goals.
If Boston doesn’t make a move, there are plenty of other franchises throughout the league that would leap at the chance to get this All-Star.
Anthony has rolled with the punches, adjusted to his physical limitations and age, and has made the best of it.
He knows his role and he plays it well and that is just one reason why he’s a valued free agent.
