Carmelo Anthony is a 10-time All-Star, a scoring champion, a 6-time All-NBA player, and a member of the league’s 75th Anniversary Team.
Yet, he is still looking for a home in the NBA.
On the verge of entering his 20th year, Anthony remains a free agent and it’s not quite clear what will happen to him next.
Will the Los Angeles Lakers sign him again or will he move to another team, which would be his seventh?
Melo is ready, he’s been ready….He could help MANY teams. Also to anyone that says @carmeloanthony isn’t in the league bcuz of defense….well….he had the best defensive rating of his career last season pic.twitter.com/Na5on0dbwd

NBA skills coach Chris Joseph Brickley posted a video and stats of Anthony, trying to remind the league that he has serious value and should be signed.

Anthony was doing a strong job with the Lakers last season and showed that, while he has changed, he still has gas in the tank and something to prove.
So, where will he prove it?
Melo’s Mastery
Anthony isn’t reaching the same heights he once did in his career but his time with the Lakers has certainly been productive.
He put up 13.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1 assist a game during 2021-22.
Not bad for 26 minutes and only 3 games as a starter.
Anthony is obviously comfortable being a bench player and that’s one of the major reasons why a team should sign him.
He seems to lack the sort of ego that some All-Stars have and is ready to deliver to a crew however they need.
Will this plea from Brickley lead to a new contract for Anthony?
