Anger issues in MLB are starting to become evident with each passing day.
A few weeks ago, we saw Boston Red Sox ace Chris Sale destroy a TV after having some issues with his control on the mound.
Now, San Francisco Giants ace Carlos Rodon showed some problems to control his emotions on Tuesday night in his outing against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
He struck out 10 hitters in six innings, but conceded five runs on three hits.
The long ball ended up hurting him: he allowed a two-run shot by Sergio Alcántara in the bottom of the second inning and a three-run blast by Christian Walker in the bottom of the third inning.
After his early issues, he kicked a bat out of frustration, but didn’t see infielder Thairo Estrada nearby.
An Unfortunate Incident
The bat ended up hitting Estrada in the knee, and he was in pain for a little while.

Rodon was apologetic and worried about Estrada’s state, but Giants teammates confronted him.
It wasn’t a cool move by the talented left-hander, who is now sporting a 3.18 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and a 148/39 K/BB ratio (20 starts; 116 innings) on the season.
It wasn’t the only time he was a little too passionate with his emotions last night:

He really needs to do a better job at keeping his emotions at bay.
Coping with failure is certainly not easy, but professionals have the tools to help, and a number of MLB players should give them a shot.
At the very least, Rodon should be careful because he could have seriously hurt himself and others around him in both examples.
Here is hoping he can avoid these episodes in the future.
