The St. Louis Cardinals are no strangers to reeling in important hardware at the end of seasons.
Last season, St. Louis had five players win Gold Glove Awards.
This year, both Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado had outstanding seasons, which were enough to put them both in the conversation for the National League MVP Award.
Arenado won a Gold Glove this season while Goldschmidt took home the Hank Aaron Award.
The two Cardinals sluggers have also won Silver Slugger Awards in the National League, joining Mookie Betts, J.T. Realmuto, Jeff McNeil, Juan Soto, Josh Bell, Trea Turner, Kyle Schwarber, and Brandon Drury.

Two Cards Bats Earn Silver Slugger Awards
Goldschmidt got off to a slow start in the month of April, but quickly found his stroke again in May.
Despite cooling off in September, the slugger hit .317 with 35 home runs, 41 doubles, and 115 RBI.
Arenado also had a season to remember.
The 32-year-old hit .293 during the regular season with 30 home runs, 103 RBI, and 42 doubles.
Both sluggers are also finalists for the National League MVP Award along with Manny Machado.
The offensive outbursts from the Cards’ two sluggers were crucial to their offensive improvement in 2022, as St. Louis finished tied with the New York Mets for third in the National League and fifth in Major League Baseball in runs scored.
They also helped pick up some of the slack after Tyler O’Neill, who posted MVP numbers in 2021, dealt with multiple injuries.
The Cardinals finished the season with 93 wins and an NL Central title for the first time since 2019.
