Halloween has come and gone, but across the baseball world, this unique holiday was celebrated by many, including the St. Louis Cardinals and one of their prospects.
Yesterday, Cards’ catching prospect Pedro Pages took batting practice prior to an Arizona Fall League game, but he did it while dressed in a funny costume.
Cameras caught the Cards’ prospect taking swings while dressed as the famous Eric Cartman from the hit Comedy Central show South Park.
Better yet, Pages made contact with several pitches while in his Cartman costume, even putting a few in play, and his teammates were loving every second of it.

Cartman Takes His Hacks
Halloween is always a fun day to dress up.
Mainly, it’s a fun day for children who go out trick or treating and wear their costumes as they ask for candy.
But even professional athletes will dress up from time to time.
Pages took matters into his own hands by dressing up as Cartman, a favorite among South Park fans.
And from what we can tell in this video, Cartman isn’t too shabby of a baseball player.
You have to admire the effort on Pages’ part.
The amount of dedication it takes to dress up as such an iconic character then proceed to take batting practice in that costume and make contact on several pitches, even putting a few in play.
It’s easy to tell that Pages spent hours preparing for this and when the time came to show it off to the world, he did not disappoint.
