Last season, the Arizona Cardinals broke a five-year playoff drought by finishing with an 11-6 record.
That slate earned them the fifth seed in the NFC playoffs.
Sadly, their division rival Los Angeles Rams sent them home in humiliating fashion, 34-11.
In 2022, the Cardinals shouldn’t be content with just entering the postseason.
They have the capability to make a deep run, given the talent they have on both sides of the ball.
If they’re looking for motivation to do better this year, they can take into consideration the trivia shared by the NFL on CBS Twitter account.

It said that the Cardinals have the longest active drought without a championship in major American sporting leagues.
Their last title came in 1947 when they were still the Chicago Cardinals.
That year, the team finished 9-3 and defeated the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFL Championship.
Jimmy Conzelman also won Coach of the Year because of that victory.
Since then, the franchise had two transfers and three name changes.
They moved to St. Louis, Missouri in 1960 and stayed there until 1987.
They were based in Phoenix by 1988 and changed their name to Arizona Cardinals in 1994.
The Cardinals had an opportunity to win Super Bowl XLIII against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
However, Ben Roethlisberger‘s pass to Santonio Holmes kept the title drought alive.
Cardinals Have A Team That Could Go All The Way
A season after their disappointing playoff experience, the Cardinals still have a roster that could represent the NFC in Super Bowl LVII.
Kyler Murray remains their starting quarterback while James Conner becomes their top running back.
Wide receivers Marquise Brown, A.J. Green, Rondale Moore, and DeAndre Hopkins should get their passing game going.
J.J. Watt, Markus Golden, and Budda Baker will be their anchors on defense.
Barring any injury, Arizona has a golden opportunity to become NFC champions.
