The NFL Draft is an exciting time, not only for prospective athletes but also for organizations and fanbases across the league.
This is an opportunity for lives to change, and for organizations to feel an infusion of optimism from their new players.
In 2019, the Arizona Cardinals drafted Kyler Murray with the first overall pick, which was recently highlighted by Dov Kleiman.

Drafting Murray was the beginning of the end for quarterback Josh Rosen, who was selected 10th overall by the Cardinals in 2018.
Murray has morphed into the Cardinals’ franchise quarterback, as the team has recently signed him to a massive contract extension.
After this memory of the Cardinals’ 2019 draft surfaced, many fans expressed how they feel about this pick in hindsight.

One San Francisco 49ers fan expressed his gratitude to the Cardinals, as they allowed the 49ers to draft Nick Bosa.
Bosa has established himself as one of the best defenders in the league, and the 49ers have certainly utilized him well.
Other fans took this time to discuss Rosen’s career, which is seen as a bust by many.
Is Josh Rosen even playing anymore? What a bust that was.

Rosen has bounced around the league since 2018.
Since being drafted by the Cardinals, Rosen has found himself on six different rosters, most recently as a part of the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad.
Now, the Cardinals look ahead to the 2023 draft with those former years of experience in mind.
With a new head coach and the third overall pick in hand, the Cardinals have high hopes for the 2023 season.
How they will choose to grow their team and improve under Murray remains to be seen.
