The 2023 MLB season is nearly upon us.
In just over a week, pitchers and catchers will report to spring training.
Every year, the return of St. Louis Cardinals baseball is highly anticipated by the team’s fans as they begin to feel the excitement of a new year and new opportunities for the team.
There will be a new face in their lineup.
Willson Contreras was signed to a five-year deal back in December, which gives the Cardinals a third power bat in the middle of their lineup.
On Twitter, the Cardinals released a hype video to announce that single-game tickets are now on sale for the 2023 season.
The wait is over. The time is here.

Of course, there is plenty of excitement around the City of St. Louis when it comes to the addition of Contreras, which gives them one of the best lineups they’ve had since the prime days of Albert Pujols.
But fans will want to take in as much as they possibly can when Adam Wainwright is pitching, as it will be his last season in Major League Baseball.
Fans also are excited to watch the dynamic duo of MVP Paul Goldschmidt and fellow MVP candidate Nolan Arenado in action.
There are even some young players on their way, such as top prospect Jordan Walker and outfielder Alec Burleson.
In addition to the young prospects, fans will also get a chance to see a full year of Brendan Donovan, Nolan Gorman, and Juan Yepez.
There are plenty of reasons to be excited for baseball in St. Louis.
