Cam Newton signed with the Carolina Panthers late last week and fans were told he may see limited playing time Sunday.
He did see limited time on the field, but his impact was felt in a huge way.
Newton scored two touchdowns in a matter of minutes in the first quarter and let the Arizona Cardinals fans in attendance know he was officially back.
The way he did it has to be the most iconic celebration seen in the NFL this season.
And maybe in recent history?
CAM NEWTON IS BACK.

Newton gets into the end zone and immediately takes off his helmet to announce his return.
He knew he would draw a penalty, but no one seemed to care because he was impacting the game right away.
Newton made up for any penalty yards by throwing a touchdown a few minutes later.

A Dramatic Return
The Panthers were given a break as the Cardinals were without Kyler Murray once again.
Still, the Panthers have had some ugly games in 2021.
But P.J. Walker got the start at quarterback and having Newton in the offense as well made Matt Rhule’s bunch look like a brand new team.
Newton threw the ball four times and ran it three times, finishing with his two touchdowns in the 30-14 win.
Walker was efficient as well and Christian McCaffrey provided his usual dual-threat role as a runner and receiver now that he is healthy and back on the field.
Fans have to be in a state of shock after seeing how poorly Sam Darnold played all year.
His play was taking the team into a bad place and now the offense is a much different unit.
Newton should start next Sunday and given the way he looked in Arizona, there is not much rust to be had.
