For MLB fans, there are fewer things more entertaining than the “mic’d up” features they do every once in a while.

They consist of putting a mic on a certain players to get his experiences on an MLB field, hear his dialogues with fellow players and umpires, and just get a closer experience to what it’s like to be a major leaguer.

It’s an extremely fun exercise for fans, and most players enjoy it, too.

New York Mets fans are in for a treat on Sunday, when Francisco Lindor takes the microphone and speaks his mind for a few hours.

“Bryce Harper requested this live on-air, and it’s indeed happening: Francisco Lindor has agreed to be mic’d up during Sunday Night Baseball against the Phillies this weekend. He’ll converse with the ESPN booth live during the game,” Mets beat writer Anthony DiComo tweeted.

Apparently Harper is a fan of Lindor, and openly asked for him to be mic’d up on Sunday.

Mr. Smile Is About To Be Mic’d Up: Enjoy!

The whole country will be able to enjoy Lindor, known as Mr. Smile, for his fun-loving nature, interacting with other players, rivals, and even umpires.

It wouldn’t be the first time Lindor goes through the experience.

In fact, his first participation was hilarious.

He is out there making small talk with the umpires, mistaking days of the week, and having a good time overall.

It’s a cool move by the league to bring its stars closer to the audiences, especially younger ones.

Everybody will have some fun on Sunday while watching a baseball game.

What else could you possibly ask for?
