Tom Brady retired from the NFL after two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and 22 in total.
But even though he already announced his retirement, rumors of his return are still prevailing.
After all, he himself said “you never say never” when asked about a potential comeback.
If that’s the case, there might be a possibility that the 44-year-old quarterback will suit up for another team.
However, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians wouldn’t want that scenario to materialize based on the tweet by Tampa Bay Times’ beat writer Rick Stroud.
Arians was asked if Tom Brady wanted to come back with another team, would he accommodate him. “Nope. Bad business.”

Stroud shared, “Arians was asked if Tom Brady wanted to come back with another team, would he accommodate him. ‘Nope. Bad business.'”
Arians understands how difficult it would be to coach against Brady and he doesn’t want him to return.
The head coach also added that Brady will be worth “five No. 1’s” if the team will put him on the market.
Even if Brady’s retired, the Buccaneers still hold his rights, meaning that other NFL teams would have to trade for Brady if they want to have him for the 2022 season.
Did Free Agency Have An Impact On Brady’s Decision?
Brady always declared that he wanted to play football until he is 45 years old.
Therefore, his retirement leaves him one year short of his goal.
However, he must have seen the possibility of not having everyone back for 2022.
Ali Marpet followed Brady in retirement after seven seasons.
Likewise, a number of key players like Rob Gronkowski, Leonard Fournette, Ryan Jensen, Chris Godwin, and Ndamukong Suh are set to become free agents.
If they all end up signing elsewhere, the Buccaneers will end up having a diluted talent pool and Brady wouldn’t want to play if he doesn’t have a chance to enter the playoffs.
