The Denver Broncos have broadened their head coaching search.
After interviewing Jim Harbaugh earlier this week, the Broncos will be interviewing another marquee candidate later today.
I'm told Jim Caldwell is interviewing with the Denver #Broncos today, per league source.

According to a few sources across the league, Jim Caldwell will interview with Broncos today, a coach with a great track record.
Caldwell has coached in the NFL for 18 seasons but hasn’t been in the league since 2019.
In his league tenure, Caldwell has worked for the Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, and Miami Dolphins.
As a head coach, Caldwell’s record is 62-50.
His proven success in the NFL would fit in nicely with the Broncos organization, which has had bouts of intermittent success but hasn’t achieved its previous heights of greatness in quite some time.
Caldwell also has experience as a quarterbacks coach, which could certainly aid in Russell Wilson getting back on track, especially considering how poorly he played this past season.
Overall, the Broncos are in need of an overhaul, especially with a division as difficult as the AFC West.
The best part of the Broncos team this past season was their defense, as they gave up just 21.1 points per game.
Their offense is what needs the most work, considering they only scored 16.9 points per game, the worst mark in the entire league.
Whatever coach steps in to lead this team will need to be offensive-minded.
Even if Caldwell isn’t the coach they end up with, they have already interviewed candidates with impressive track records and should take a step forward with whichever coach they move forward with.
