Just like it usually happens when a team starts winning too much, the Kansas City Chiefs have earned their fair share of bandwagoners and haters.
The latter group continues to grow by the day, with multiple rival fans stating that the referees always help Andy Reid’s team, just like it happened with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots before.
Likewise, rival fans and analysts don’t hesitate to doubt those winning teams year in and year out, firing hot takes and predicting their downfall before the start of the season.
That’s why Patrick Mahomes’ wife Britanny kept receipts, and she didn’t hesitate to demand an apology from all the naysayers and doubters after winning the Super Bowl.
I think a lot of people need to apologize for what they said about this team at the beginning of this season 😂🙂

Unsurprisingly, most of the responses were negative and full of mockery and insults, as usually happens every time she tweets something football-related.
Mahomes’ family became a bit of an infamous figure for NFL fans — Chiefs fans included — for their constant antics and borderline disrespectful behavior at times.
Notably, that’s the exact opposite of what Mahomes has shown on and off the field, as he’s always been quite respectful of his peers and colleagues.
There were even some reports about Pat reaching out to his brother Jackson and his wife about taking their shenanigans down a notch to avoid being an off-field distraction, a report that was later denied by the reigning Super Bowl MVP.
The duo often tested the boundaries and rivals fans’ patience, but that’s the kind of bragging rights one get when you win that often.
Whatever the case, nothing gives anyone the right to insult anybody online, and it’s as simple as ignoring them or just muting or blocking their accounts.
