MLB, since 2021, has been trying to promote uniform re-designing to make them go hand in hand with each city’s personality and communities.
That’s how the City Connect series was born.
The Milwaukee Brewers are the latest team to reveal its 2022 City Connect uniforms, and they look slick.

The powder blue jerseys with navy accents have the words “Brew Crew” across the front.
The “Brew Crew” has been an adopted nickname by the franchise for quite some time now.
According to MLB.com, the colors “pay tribute to the People’s Flag of Milwaukee, but they also invoke Lake Michigan and the sun, two key pieces of a perfect Milwaukee summer day.”

The jersey also has yellow and white piping along the side “to represent a foaming beer.”
All in all, the uniform looks very cool, and also has the words MKE on the powder blue hat.
MKE is Milwaukee’s international airport abbreviation.
“The Brewers City Connect uniform is a gift from the Brewers to our Milwaukee home and our fans,” Rick Schlesinger, the Brewers’ president of business operations, told MLB.com. “Each element of the design was thoughtfully created to celebrate the unmistakable bond between our city, the fans and the team, Milwaukee’s Brew Crew.”
The Brewers will be wearing this jerseys and hat for the first time in about a week: the plan is to use them in the series against the Toronto Blue Jays from June 24 to June 26.
Six teams have now unveiled City Connect uniforms in 2022.
The 35-30 Brewers are second in the NL Central division after a bit of a rough patch, two games behind the leaders, the St. Louis Cardinals.
