The New York Jets are shocking the NFL world in multiple ways this season.
While the team is off to a 5-2 start in 2022, they are also setting NFL records this season.
One record that was made this season was by RB Breece Hall.
So what record has the Jets’ running back set this season?
Hall Ties The Record For Fastest TD Run In 2022
According to Next Gen Stats, Hall’s top speed of 21.87 MPH sets a record for the 2022 season.

What’s even better is how he was only expected to gain four yards during that play.
Hall uses his elusiveness to make his way through a gap, and from there it was a foot race.
The rookie running back wasn’t stopping for anyone after he made his way past the first level of defenders.
However, the impressive feat by Hall was the only bright spot for the rookie on Sunday.
Hall Left Game With A Serious Injury
During the second quarter, Hall suffered an injury which required the medical cart to take him off the field.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Hall is out with a torn ACL and minor meniscus injury.

This injury now means the rookie sensation’s 2022 season is over.
After having a record-setting run in 2022, his season came to a halt just as fast.
While the Jets look to Michael Carter to take over for Hall, the explosive running game is now gone for the Jets.
Fans can only hope for a full and speedy recovery for the star rookie of the Jets.
