After a 3-4 start, the San Francisco 49ers may be just starting to string together some momentum.
They’ve won their last two games, and for the first time in a while, they’re almost completely healthy.
Most believe that the 49ers have one of the NFL’s best collections of talent, especially now that they’ve added potent dual-threat running back Christian McCaffrey to their roster.
They will face the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football, and although Arizona is just 4-6, it cannot be taken lightly.
Here are two things we feel will transpire in that contest.
2. The 49ers Will Hold The Cardinals Under 25 Points
San Francisco has arguably the best defense when healthy, and they’re one of the league leaders in sacks with 29.0.
Defensive end Nick Bosa appears headed for another Pro Bowl season with 9.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and 24 quarterback hits in his eight games.
When the 49ers faced Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray in Week 5 last season (he missed the second contest between the two teams), they held him to one touchdown, and even better, just one rushing yard on seven attempts.
Don’t be surprised if Murray and the Cardinals have a rough night.
1. The 49ers Will Win By At Least One Touchdown
The Niners lost both their matchups against Arizona last year, but this year’s Niners team is more potent.
For one, McCaffrey gives them a major weapon that is versatile and can decimate opponents simply via the run.
Second, they have star cornerback Charvarius Ward, who is among the NFL’s leaders in passes defended, and second-year safety Talanoa Hufanga may be emerging into a star.

San Francisco is just half a game behind the surprising Seattle Seahawks for first place in the NFC West, and a 49ers win would tie them with the Seahawks, who have their bye week, for tops in the division.
