Even though some thought the Buffalo Bills were ready to move on from veteran LB A.J. Klein this offseason — yes, again — that will no longer be the case.
The team is reportedly still high on their veteran LB, which is why they agreed to terms on a one-year deal to bring their unrestricted free agent back.
Back for another season.

The Bills waived Klein back in March in a salary-dumping move, so he had to join the New York Giants practice squad before getting another chance with the Baltimore Ravens later in the season.
Then, the Ravens traded him to the Chicago Bears, which waived him.
The Bills didn’t wait long and brought him back on a team-friendly deal just one day after his brief tenure in Chicago ended, staying for the remainder of the season.
Klein had already been with the team in 2020 and 2021, and he logged 11 total tackles in six appearances for them last season.
While he’s not expected to have a prominent role in the defense, he’ll give some much-needed depth and veteran leadership to their defensive unit as an eleven-year veteran in this league.
The Bills have been relatively quiet for the most part of the offseason, mostly because of their salary-cap limitations.
They still have the best team in the AFC East division, but likely having Aaron Rodgers in New York must be a big reason for concern upstate.
Josh Allen will always give them a chance to win, but they’ll need to keep adding and retaining more talent around him if they want to have a chance in 2023.
