Most NFL fans knew that Week 6 could feature the best game of the NFL season.
That is because the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs were playing in Kansas City.
These are arguably the two best teams in the NFL and the game showed that.
Buffalo pulled off the road win 24-20 and improved to 5-1 with Kansas City now 4-2.
Despite it being more low-scoring than expected, the whole country was watching.
The #Bills win over the #Chiefs averaged $25.4 million viewers on CBS.

The most-watched game in 15 years featured two quarterbacks who are amongst the league’s best.
Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes have a similar feel to all of the Peyton Manning and Tom Brady duals over the past decade.
It seems like whenever these teams match up, the game is always a battle.
We saw what happened in the 2021 AFC divisional playoffs with the Chiefs winning 42-36.
It would not be a surprise to see these teams meet again in the playoffs this year.
Through six weeks, they look far and away better than the rest of the AFC.
The NFL makes a boatload of money in games between the Bills and Chiefs.
More than likely they will play every season due to being in the same conference.
Everyone wants to watch the best players and that is what we get with the Bills/Chiefs.
It will be interesting to see if any other games can match the ratings of this one.
The only team that puts up consistently high ratings is the Dallas Cowboys.
The NFL remains king when it comes to ratings.
Even this one game got more than some of the MLB playoff series.
The 25.4 million viewers is an astronomical number that will be tough to surpass.
