The New England Patriots have gotten significant media coverage throughout the season.
After a slow start, many analysts have tried to get to the root of their problems, hoping to see the Patriots improve for the rest of the year.
Many have pointed to Bill Belichick as a potential roadblock for this team, wondering if a head coaching change is needed.
While some have wondered if he is on his way out, a recent report has indicated otherwise.
It was revealed that Belichick signed an extension during the 2023 offseason, although he declined to talk about it in Michael Hurley’s postgame interview.

As Hurley indicates, Belichick had a chance to discuss this extension but refused.
Instead, Belichick spent his time talking about ways that he could have improved in the Patriots’ win, his golf game, and a myriad of other topics.
Belichick is a traditionally stoic coach who doesn’t tend to give in to media attention or questioning.
If he doesn’t want to talk about a particular topic, he declines to speak on it, which is a different approach than many of the NFL’s newest young coaches.
Not being able to teach an old dog new tricks seems to apply to Belichick.
This is evident in his coaching style, as well as his appearance and stature when talking to the media.
After beating the Buffalo Bills, the Patriots’ record increased to 2-5 on the year.
Will this give Belichick and the Patriots the energy they need to go on a run for the rest of the season?
