The latest NBA season has just come to an end but people are already looking ahead to what’s next.

There are a few big uncertainties: where will Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving go is just one of the big question marks.

While some future trades and packages may greatly change the league, many people are already starting to assume which team has the best chance at winning the next NBA title.

Four days into free agency, the Boston Celtics currently are the consensus favorites to win the NBA title.

NBA analyst and gambling expert David Payne Purdum says that after just four days into NBA free agency, the Boston Celtics are currently thought of as the favorites to win the Finals in 2023.

What are the chances that we see Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, and the rest of the team back in the Finals next year?

Boston Is Back

It’s not wild to assume that the Celtics will be back in the NBA Finals considering they lost only a few weeks ago.

They obviously had what it took to go all the way last season so why won’t they be able to do again next year?

The Celtics have made a few changes to their roster but they are remaining the same for the most part.

Celtics mastermind Brad Stevens and head coach Ime Udoka have both emphasized that the team is going to look very similar next season.

Indeed, they don’t want many new recruits but instead want to just improve the skills of the players they have now.

Competition for the title will be rough next year, with the Golden State Warriors looking to repeat and other teams such as the Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, and Philadelphia 76ers all fighting hard to make an impact.

It’ll be a tough fight for the Celtics, that’s for sure.
