Very soon, the NBA trade market will start to heat up, as December 15 is the first day teams are allowed to trade players they signed during the offseason as free agents.
There are already plenty of rumors circulating as far as who could be available, and these two players appear to be the cream of the crop so far.
Bojan Bogdanovic – Detroit Pistons
Although the Pistons traded for Bojan Bogdanovic during the summer, they’re rumored to be open to dealing him again if the price is right.
The sharpshooter may be 33 years of age, but he’s having his best season yet, averaging 21.0 points and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 50.8 percent overall and 43.7 percent from 3-point range, all of which are career-highs.
The Pistons have the league’s worst record at 7-22, and some feel they will want to do whatever they can to finish in that position and win the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes.
Bogdanovic can offer a contender or wanna-be contender elite-level outside shooting, especially on contested 3-pointers, as well as someone who can create his own shot a little and force defenses to stick to him like flypaper.
DeMar DeRozan – Chicago Bulls
The Bulls, who were riding high until the middle of last season, are 11-15 right now and on the outside of the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
As a result, there have been rumors that they may hit the proverbial reset button and trade DeMar DeRozan, who is their best player.
He had a career year last season, putting up 27.9 points per game and delivering some dangerous play in crunch time, and he has largely maintained his production, at least statistically, this year.

There should be plenty of teams clamoring for the five-time All-Star if Chicago indeed makes him available.
