Jokic had a fantastic season this year.
He has remarkable averages of 26.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game.
Jokic is a center almost averaging a triple double while shooting 57/39/87 splits.
This season was a weird one with a lot of MVP candidates missing time.
However, Jokic was able to play all 72 games this season at such a high level.
He was able to lead an injury-ridden Nuggets roster to the third seed in the Western Conference.
Now the Serbian big man is in the second round of the playoffs battling it out for his second straight trip to the Western Conference Finals.
He has gone from being a second-round pick to the MVP of the league.

Jokic has come a very long.
Here are the three best moments from his MVP season.
3. January 31, vs Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz were coming into Denver with an 11-game winning streak.
Also, this was a revenge game for the Jazz as they choked a 3-1 series lead to the Nuggets in last season’s playoffs.
However, Jokic and the Nuggets got the upper hand.
Jokic had a monster game that cemented his spot on the shortlist of MVP candidates.
He put up 47 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists.
This was done on the future three-time Defensive Player of the Year, Rudy Gobert.
The Nuggets ended up snapping their streak with a 128-117 victory over the Jazz.
Jokic showed that there was no match for him in the league.
2. March 2, vs Milwaukee Bucks
What better way of making a statement for being MVP this season than by beating the reigning two-time MVP of the league.
The Milwaukee Bucks are a great team with a great player.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had won back-to-back MVP awards and was in the discussion for a third this season as well.
However, on March 2, Jokic made an absolute statement.
Jokic had one of his many triple doubles on the season.
The total numbers were 37 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists.
It was a phenomenal performance by him as he led the Nuggets to a 31-point victory over the Bucks.
He proved in that game that he can go toe-to-toe with an MVP.
1. April 19, vs Memphis Grizzlies
Tragedy struck on April 12.
The Nuggets’ second -est player, Jamal Murray, suffered a devastating torn ACL.
This injury was so unfortunate and nobody knew what to expect from the Nuggets.
They were dealing with enough injuries all season, but this one was by far the worst.
However, on April 19, Jokic delivered an all-time performance.
He ended up with 47 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 assists while shooting 20-31 from the field.
Jokic was able to carry the Nuggets to a double overtime win against the scrappy Memphis Grizzlies.
The player to score the most points against the Memphis Grizzlies this year was Nikola Jokić with 47.

This was the game to gave us a glimpse into how Jokic can carry this team without his co-star.
There were so many unbelievable games from the big man.
These three stood out.
Jokic truly deserved this MVP and congrats to him.
