The NBA recently released the 2021-2022 schedule and opening week is shaping up to have some really good games.
There are three games that are shaping up to be must-watch.
3. Milwaukee Bucks Vs. Brooklyn Nets
The game that will open the 2021-2022 season pits the Milwaukee Bucks against the Brooklyn Nets.
This is a rematch of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
The matchup between the two teams was electric in the playoffs.
Brooklyn hopped out to an early 2-0 lead, however, Milwaukee tied the series up at 2-2.
The series concluded in a Game 7 that went to overtime.
This very well may be the Eastern Conference Finals this season if the rankings work out the right way.
Milwaukee and Brooklyn are the most talented teams in their conference.
Being able to see both teams play at full strength will be the perfect way to begin the season.
There is a chance that things could get chippy between the two teams as well.

With the series coming down to the wire and being so close the entire time, things were very heated between the Bucks and Nets in the playoffs.
If this carries over into opening night, this could be the beginning of a rivalry that goes on for years.
2. Golden State Warriors Vs. Los Angeles Lakers
The final game on opening night is between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors.
LeBron James has had a rivalry with the Warriors since they first faced off in the NBA Finals in 2015.
As a result of this, the games between James and the Warriors are always hard-fought and heated.
They met last season in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament.
It was a game that came down to an incredible finish in which James hit a very deep three to ice the game.

Another big draw for this game is it will be Russell Westbrook‘s first game with the Lakers.
The Lakers sent Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell, and draft capital to the Washington Wizards for Westbrook.
Adding Westbrook to the roster likely locked in the Lakers’ Big Three for the LeBron James era.
Their game against the Warriors will be the first look into another great Big Three or a failed experiment.
Lastly, anytime Steph Curry is playing in a big game like this, it makes it worth watching.
Curry is going for his third MVP this season and getting off on the right foot is very important.
1. Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Phoenix Suns
The Lakers will face off against the Phoenix Suns in their second game of the season.
This is a rematch of the first-round matchup that gave James the first first-round loss of his career.
Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton will be back trying to prove that last year was not a fluke and that they are real contenders.
The Lakers are trying to avenge their first-round exit and one of the lowest points in James’ postseason career.
With James and Anthony Davis healthy again, it will be interesting to see how they stack up against the Suns.
