The Chicago Bears are trying to get fans excited in what is still a tough time for the franchise.
The organization fired both head coach Matt Nagy and GM Ryan Pace, opting for a reset after a 6-11 finish in 2021.
First up was hiring Ryan Poles as the new GM.
To continue the Ryan-Matt trend, the Bears then hired Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus as the new head coach.
All they need now is another Mitch at quarterback to complete the trifecta.
Again, the Bears are trying to drum up excitement.
That has led them to creating some comical hype videos.

Here is Eberflus, walking into the building with dramatic music playing.
How many takes did this require?
The funny thing here is that this wasn’t the first video of its kind from the team.
Poles got one as well and it was a bit more dramatic.

Those putting together these videos did a great job.
Fans are just going to avoid getting too excited after another reset in Chicago.
A New Trend
These new hire hype videos appear to be a popular trend around the NFL.
The New York Giants even posted one for new GM Joe Schoen earlier in the week.

Those running the social media account of losing teams take harsh words from fans on a daily basis.
It is then their job to try to put out fun, engaging content during what is the beginning of a long offseason.
Yet it doesn’t take any of the humor away.
Do they expect fans at home to keep watching the video, screaming and jumping up and down?
The tough reality is that the only thing to truly get fans excited is a team winning games.
Everything else is just hype.
