The Houston Astros not only have a star-level roster: they also have the mentality of a bulldog.
They hate losing, and it shows.
There is a reason why they won 106 regular season games and they are 7-0 in the postseason.
Several times, they were on the brink of being defeated, but came back with some clutch hits and important outs to seal key wins against the Seattle Mariners and the New York Yankees.
Their mindset was evidenced by Kyle Tucker‘s recent remarks.
Tucker, one of the best right fielders in the American League, confessed they hope to sweep the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series that starts tonight in Houston.
“’Hopefully we just win in 4…. We’re hoping to get it out of the way early.’ -Kyle Tucker,” Talkin’ Baseball tweeted.

Tucker Is Just Trying To Win
Some people have misinterpreted Tucker’s quotes and taken them out of context, especially Phillies fans, but he is not being disrespectful or anything.
He is just expressing a wish, a desire: evidently, he would like to win with his team, and if they can do it in the fewest possible games, then even better.
Tucker’s postseason hasn’t been brilliant to this point but he remains one of the Astros’ most dangerous hitters.
In the regular season, he slashed .257/.330/.478 with 30 home runs and 107 RBI.
He also played some really impressive defense in right field and supplied value on the basepaths, as well, with 25 stolen bases.
Overall, Tucker had his finest season to this date, with 4.7 Wins Above Replacement, or WAR.
He contributes everywhere and will be one of the keys for the World Series.
If he catches fire, Houston probably won’t lose.
