The Minnesota Vikings put on a wonderful show for NFL fans on Sunday, defeating the Buffalo Bills in overtime.
With the win, some fans are calling the Vikings one of the best teams in the NFL.
However, are they the best after getting that monumental win in Buffalo?
The Case Against The Vikings
While the Vikings are good in some aspects, they are also a very lucky team.
After failing to go ahead of the Bills when they had the ball, they needed luck to help them take the lead late in the fourth quarter.

Had quarterback Josh Allen not fumbled the snap, the Vikings couldn’t have won the game.
However, luck was on the side of the Vikings, as they got the win over the Bills.
The team has also needed some heroics in several other games to come away with a win.
These things work against them.
But, a case can be made for why they are 8-1.
Vikings Benefit From Clutch Plays
While luck got the Vikings a win over the Bills, their offense is reliable during most of their games.
Amazing plays by Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson are what make the Vikings so good.
Ok. Wrap it up. This is the catch of the year. Justin Jefferson. WOW.

So not everything goes against this amazing team.
They have playmakers who step up when they are needed.
Because of this, the Vikings are in second place in the NFC with their 8-1 record.
While they aren’t the best team in the NFL, they have players who have made some of the best plays so far this season.
