Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves has only been in the NBA for two seasons but his impact on the team has been profound already.
Edwards, a former number one draft pick, has become a vital part of his crew.
And it’s no surprise that the team has found great success after Edwards came on board.
In fact, they finally reached the playoffs again last season and Edwards came out shining brightly during the postseason.

In the playoffs, Edwards averaged 25.2 points per game and had a stat line of 46/40/82.
He also averaged 3.8 three-pointers a game, which is behind only Stephen Curry when it comes to points from downtown.
Edwards looks and feels right at home in the playoffs.

During the regular season, Edwards scored 21.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists.
As you can see, he reached new levels in the postseason.
That’s because Edwards has been eager to play on that stage ever since entering the league.
And he’s not alone, his team is filled with young guys who are ready to become the most promising squad in the NBA.
Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell are just two of the team members who have had big goals for the team since coming together.
Now the T-Wolves have an ever better chance of surging into the postseason because of their latest trade.
They gave up a whole lot of assets to secure Rudy Gobert, formerly of the Utah Jazz.
The hope is that Gobert will be the missing piece that will make the team genuinely come together.
If that’s the case, Edwards and the rest of his mates will be in the playoffs far more often.
