The entire NBA world was elated and proud of LeBron James on Tuesday night as the Los Angeles Lakers star set a new record for the number of points scored in a career.
For most of the game, fans and other players were on their feet every time James got the ball.
In the third quarter, James finally earned his place in league history and the response from everyone was pure jubilation.
Everyone except Anthony Davis, who was spotted courtside during that historic moment looking downtrodden.
That’s because, despite James’ best efforts, the Lakers were still losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
"In your opinion, what are the biggest things that need to change…?"
Anthony Davis: "Win games. Simple."

Following the game and a painful 133-130 loss, Davis remarked on his team’s lacking effort.
When asked what the biggest thing that needs changing with the Lakers, Davis was direct: “Win games,” he said.
“Simple.”
Apparently, it’s not simple enough because the Lakers are still in very bad shape just hours before the trade deadline and a couple of months before the playoffs.
The team was hopeful that Davis’ return following an injury would bring them many more wins and a competitive edge but they have recently fallen to teams such as the New Orleans Pelicans, Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, and Los Angeles Clippers.
Davis has averaged 19.3 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists since his return to the game.
He has been playing well, as have James, Rui Hachimura, and others.
But LA still feels light years away from the playoffs.
It was shocking to see Davis so upset on such a historic night but he obviously has a lot on his mind right now.
He is surely happy for his friend but also very disappointed with his team’s lack of progress.
