Early in the season, the Los Angeles Angels seemed to be poised to fight with the Houston Astros for the AL West crown.
They jumped to an early division lead and looked very competent in April and early May.
But things have fallen apart recently.
They have lost 11 straight games and have looked flat-out lost during the streak.
They were on the verge of snapping the bad streak, building a 5-0 lead against the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday in the early innings.
They ended up on the losing side yet again.
In the middle of the bad days in sports-related things, the team just released some cool new uniforms.
“The Angels revealed their Nike City Connect uniforms,” Fox Sports MLB tweeted, with a very cool clip.

In the video, some of the best players on the team, Mike Trout included, are seen wearing the new kit, a fresh look with the traditional white uniform and some cool red letters.
The Uniforms Are Nice, But Fans Want Wins Instead
The uniforms project a fresh vibe, and the video takes advantage of Los Angeles’ beach mood.
Many fans liked the new threads, but have complained about their recent funk.
“Maybe this will break their 11 game losing streak,” Oakley Starling tweeted.

He wasn’t the only one with a similar sentiment.
The Angels, once the leaders of the AL West, are now 27-28, 8.5 games behind the Astros and already below .500.
Trout has been ice-cold during the streak, and it has really affected the Angels as a team.
They are talented enough to break out of their rut soon enough, but this streak probably affected their chances to catch the Astros eventually.
